TABATA FOR EVERY SPORT
Tabata includes a high intensity interval exercise class which helps develop both your aerobic and your anaerobic capacity. Tabata includes lower body exercises which will help build muscles used for running, improving your running economy, meaning for the same effort you will run faster. Many of our exercises strengthen the hip and glute muscles which are the real workhorses for runners. You will also strengthen the core muscles improving the distance you can go before your form deteriorates. This allows you to run longer distances at a faster speed.
Biking is a wonderful way to strengthen lower body muscles and get a great cardiovascular workout but it’s doesn’t strengthen many upper body muscles. Tabata will not only help build the upper body muscles that athetes who only bike might not be working, but it will also help give a very well rounded workout to the muscles of the lower body and the core.
Swimming is a wonderful way to get a low impact cardiovascular workout which is very beneficial for overall good health. Tabata will supplement that by giving you a well rounded strength training routine using body weight, exercise bands and other tools that strengthen the muscles and aid in bone density.
Golfers can see improvement in their game by adding strength training to their routine. In Tabata we work out all the major muscle groups. Golfers will benefit from a strong upper body to aid in hitting the ball further. Perhaps the most important benefit will be a strong and stable core. By having a strong core you will have a more controlled and accurate swing and will have more power behind each swing.
